The Sun West Cell On Wheels (COW) is a portable telescoping tower/mast and/or cell site mounted on a trailer that can easily be deployed for special events, network restoration or disaster recovery efforts. We have designed them to provide an industry standard platform to accommodate customer equipment such as generators and equipment cabinets.

Standard features include: A hot-dipped galvanized DOT approved trailer manufactured by Sun West Engineering, Inc., LED Lighting, vertically adjustable hitch, low height easy boarding trailer deck, universal steel grated decking to easily accommodate mounting of all equipment requirements, crow’s nest mast support and working platform per OSHA standards, outriggers, storage cabinets/boxes, and a variety of different telescoping masts. Our COWS are also available with our patented scissor lift and our patented fold over antenna mounting system.

The Sun West COLT - Cell On Light Truck is designed to provide an industry standard to accommodate customer requirements in the areas of temporary mobile support services, event coverage and rapid deployment during disaster recovery efforts as well other mobile communications requirements.

The Sun West COP - Cell On Platform is specifically designed to be transportable or fixed depending on customer requirements. COP’s can accommodate customer equipment and/or equipment cabinets. They are lightweight and portable. Ideal for on-site assembly in access restricted areas like; roof tops, parking garages, and under power line towers.

As the mobile communications industry evolves, new and larger antennas are needed to meet the carrier’s RF needs.  The challenge to mount these large and heavy antenna arrays falls primarily on the mobile-mounted telescoping mast.  Until recently, mounting these antennas on COWS & COLTS has been limited and cumbersome to say the least.  We've been listening to our customers and have worked to develop several solutions.  We have solutions for the new Matsing spherical antennas, large flat panel multi-beam antennas, canister antennas as well as 3-sector panel antennas, and microwave antennas.  If you don’t see what you’re looking for just ask us.  We can discuss a solution, and design a mount to work for you.
